Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire has revealed a secret battle with depression amid a struggle with 'muscle dysmorphia'.The 27 year old, who was recently revealed as one of the celebrities taking part in next year's Dancing On Ice, opened up about the issues he'd been facing in a frank Instagram post on Tuesday, 10 October.

Announcing the news by explaining he was filming his first-ever news and current affairs documentary for Channel 4, he captioned a series of pictures, saying: "I have Muscle Dysmorphia and it has been a long journey to understanding this condition and learning about it through the making of my first ever news and current affairs documentary for Channel 4. "I am so proud of what we created and nervous for you to all see my personal experience with disordered eating, depression, social isolation, and plastic surgery, as I strived for impossible physical perfection.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists explains that people with muscle dysmorphia "are overly-concerned with their degree of muscularity, whereby there is a pervasive belief that they are insufficiently large and lack adequate muscularity.This preoccupation with muscle building leads to a never-ending quest to become bigger and more muscular." Miles' musician and painter father, Jacques, praised his son in the comments, saying: "I’m very proud of you my son!!!

and all your achievements so far and the ones coming up your heart is big and shining through! I love you." Fans also commended him, with one saying: "Look forward to watching this, raising awareness to not only tell your story, to help others and also to let people know it’s okay to feel these things is incredible and something to be super proud of.".
