Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce will clash on October 24 when promoter Frank Warren hopes fans will be allowed into The O2. The heavyweight clash between the two unbeaten Brits has been rescheduled twice having previously been booked in for April 11 and July 11.
But Warren does not want to hold the fight behind closed doors due to the loss of gate revenue and now hopes to host it in the autumn.
He said: "It will be a fight to remember and what a boost for British boxing. "Everyone wants to see it. Lockdown has meant a delay, but we all want the fight to take place in October and we are hopeful that the government will give us the all clear. "What a position the winner will be in.
