Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has spoken out after the club today announced they were to go back on their decision to furlough non-playing staff.
Levy was widely condemned after stating Spurs' intention to use the government scheme to pay for 80% of the wages of 550 non-playing employees.
But after Liverpool performed a U-turn on their decision to furlough staff last week, Spurs have now followed suit and will pay staff wages in full for April and May.
They will also allow the NHS to use their stadium facilities to help fight the ongoing coronavirus crisis and it has been transformed into a hospital unit.
