Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack is doing everything he can to avoid asking his staff to take wage cuts. The chairman has already warned that the Dons could be facing a £5-or-6 million hit if this shutdown continues long-term.
Aberdeen fans have rallied to buy season tickets and AberDNA fan memberships and Cormack is hoping he can plug the rest of the gap through other ways, including possible new investment.
Cormack knows nothing can be ruled out but he will do everything he can to keep the club on an even keel throughout this coronavirus crisis.
Cormack said: “Our goal is to pull all the data together, not make a knee-jerk decision. “What we want to do - and we’re working on it right now - is take a view on what the likely position is.
