Derek McInnes has pleaded for investment to help Aberdeen through the coronavirus crisis. And the Dons gaffer insists players and staff will do all they can to ease the financial burden on the Pittodrie board.
Chairman Dave Cormack fears the club could lose up to £5million during the football lockdown. He was also angered last week by the failure of Aberdeen’s insurers to keep paying out on the club’s business interruption cover.
Now McInnes has urged anyone who can help the club with cash to come forward. As yet, understands that neither the manager, his staff or any players have been asked to take a pay cut or deferral.
