David Cameron's father-in-law has been robbed at his estate in northern Lincolnshire. Samantha Cameron's father Sir Reginald Sheffield was driving around Normanby Hall when a man allegedly approached his vehicle and took his iPhone 8.

Antony Wilks 25, from Ealand, near Crowle, appeared at Grimsby Magistrates' Court yesterday as Sir Reginald celebrated his 74th birthday.

Prosecutor Mark Haigh told the court that Sir Reginald was in his car on his private land at Flixborough near Normanby when he saw two men in a VW Golf, which ended up facing his vehicle, reports Grimsby Live.

The court heard that a man is said to have got out of the car and come up to Sir Reginald's car window, which was fully down, and told him: "I'll have your phone, ta."
