A rude customer has been named and shamed after taking a table at a restaurant despite being told by staff that they were at full capacity due to coronavirus restrictions.

The Sneaky Pickle restaurant in Adelaide, South Australia was following new Covid-19 rules that say a maximum of 75 people can be seated per room.

This allows four square metres per person and up to a maximum of 300 people per venue when a customer decided she was exempt from the rules.

CCTV footage shows a woman walking into the restaurant with her family only to be stopped by the owner. He explained there weren't any tables available for them.
