Disneyland Shanghai is to reopen after four months in the coming days with strict social distancing measures in place. On Tuesday, Disney said it would reopen its flagship park in mainland China on May 11 but would severely limit the number of guests.
All staff have been ordered to wear masks, and social distancing will be enforced on rides and in restaurants. The entertainment giant has put plans in place after losing some $1 billion (£804 million) in lost profits since the start of the coronavirus-led shutdown.
Its estimated Disney makes around a third of its revenue from its six parks worldwide and related experiences and consumer products.
