A mum and dad built their two-year-old daughter a room fit for a princess. Mary and Jim Garrett-Crabtree turned little Izzy’s bed into an epic castle.

But thankfully, the Tennessee-based couple didn’t have to spend as much cash as the royals do to build it. The pair, who both work as nursing assistants, brushed up on their DIY skills.

They made the pink tower from affordable wooden material and assembled it all themselves. By swerving professional carpenters, they managed to save a fortune.
