One of Donald Trump's senior advisors leading his legal bid to overturn the election result has caught Covid-19. Corey Lewandowski served as Trump's campaign manager for part of his 2016 bid for the White House and was advising his current re-election effort.
He was in Philadelphia challenging ballot-counting procedures last week and believes he was infected while there. Lewandowski was also at the White House election night party, but reportedly did not test positive until eight days later.
A source told Reuters Lewandowski, who tested positive yesterday, was experiencing no symptoms. He has repeatedly been seen in public, both on the campaign trail and in recent days in Philadelphia, without wearing a mask.
