MONTGOMERY COUNTY - Monday morning commute just got a even more difficult for some drivers in Montgomery County after Saturday's severe storms shut down part of a major highway.Route 422 near King of Prussia is closed in both directions from Pennsylvania Route 23 Valley Forge exit and PA 363 at the Audubon/ Trooper exit, PennDOT says.The highway was closed after a string of thunderstorms pummeled the Delaware Valley Saturday night, causing damage to roads and properties.Officials say a utility pole was knocked down on Route 422, leaving power lines along the highway.MORE HEADLINES:PECO crews have been ‘feverishly’ working to erect a new pole and make necessary repairs since Sunday, according to authorities.Although the hoped to have the highway open by Monday morning, officials say they now expect it to be closed beyond Monday rush hour.FOX 29's Steve Keeley was on the scene as several cars and buses were forced to turn around and find alternate routes..
