Drake has been forced to postpone the upcoming Young Money reunion show after he tested positive for COVID-19.
The 35-year-old rapper shared the news with his fans on Instagram. “I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” he wrote. Drake added that he “will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked.” He continued, “Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all [...] I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid).” The Young Money reunion performance was set to happen tonight, August 1, as part of Drake‘s October World Weekend festival in Toronto. Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have collaborated on many tracks together, including 2009′s “BedRock”, 2014′s “Only”, and 2021′s “Seeing Green”.
