Amid the coronavirus crisis, medical experts around the nation are urging Australians to get their flu vaccination. With the threat if the deadly virus at bay - people are understandbaly worried to visit medical centres - many of which are well above capacity.
As a result, some doctors - including those at Forest Hill Family Clinic in Melbourne's east and a few in Adelaide's northeastern suburbs - have taken immunisation operation outside, setting up a drive-through flu vaccination clinics.
On March 31, more than 100 children and adults received flu shots in a car park, in a bid reduce foot traffic through the medical centre’s front entrance, according to Adelaide Now.
