East Ayrshire registrars broke down after marrying a terminally ill man earlier this week.The East Ayrshire couple, who had been together for 40 years, were wed through a window by a registrar standing in the garden during lockdown.The family had requested a ceremony to take place that day after nurses told the registrar the groom couldn't hold on much longer.Officials received special dispensation from the National Records of Scotland to conduct the ceremony that day at 1pm.Senior registrar Cathy Dunlop, who officiated, said: "It was a really beautiful moment."The groom’s nurses and carers were present and they filmed the ceremony for the family."I conducted the ceremony from the garden through an open window and neighbours stood in their
