EastEnders bosses have revealed that the cast won't return to work anytime soon as the BBC soap was axed due to the coronavirus.
The show was brought to a standstill six weeks ago as the government announced lockdown plans, with the BBC deciding to reduce the amount of weekly episodes for the safety of the cast and crew.
But with the popular show starting to run low on episodes, it's uncertain when the BBC soap will resume filming due to the lockdown.
An insider for the soap told Mirror Online that bosses won't take a "risk" and it remains unclear when the cast can return to work due to the pandemic.
