Ed Sheeran teaching school kids how to play his hits on guitar in lockdown

Ed Sheeran has offered his musical services to locked-down school children. With schools closed for the foreseeable future due to coronavirus, the British hitmaker shared his guitar knowledge to youngsters.

During his virtual lesson, the 29-year-old answered questions as well as teaching them to play some of his chart-topping tunes, such as Perfect, on guitar.

Timothy Spoerer, music director at Ecclesbourne Primary School, Thornton Heath, South London, surprised kids in a Zoom call with his close friend.

The singer told them: "I basically wasn’t very smart at school I thought I was an idiot for a very long time. "I couldn’t do maths, science, and English, and I was told to be successful in life you had to do those things. "I loved playing
