Ed Woodward has promised Manchester United will continue to be 'highly competitive' in the transfer market but admits the club is not immune from the impact of the coronavirus.
United had lined up deals for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish before the UK went into lockdown, and were recently linked with a £200million move for Harry Kane after he cast doubt on his future at Tottenham Hotspur.
The MEN revealed United were unmoved by Kane's comments and Spurs dismissed the possibility of United signing the England international due to the length of his contract, which expires in 2024.
