Emmy Awards will require guests and nominees to provide proof of vaccination and a negative Covid-19 test. Celebrities attending the US premiere television awards in September will have to show both evidence of immunisation and a recent negative test result to enter.

Lead nominees include Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin, Rege-Jean Page and Kate Winslet. Both The Crown and Bridgerton are up for the outstanding drama series Emmy alongside The Handmaid’s Tale, This Is Us, The Boys, Pose, The Mandalorian and Lovecraft Country.

Organisers previously confirmed the ceremony is being limited because of the rise in delta variant cases across the US. Nominated teams of three or more will be limited to four tickets, the TV Academy said.
