And while there are a handful of patients remaining on the unit at the Oxford Road site, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

After months of hard work for staff - who have shown incredible dedication during long, gruelling shifts during a pandemic that has rocked the NHS - things are on the up: numbers at the ICU are significantly reduced.
