It comes following a confirmed Covid-19 case within the year 8 bubble. A spokesman for Oasis Academy MediaCityUK, on King William Street, said: “We have been advised by Public Health England of a confirmed case of COVID-19 within our Year 8 bubble. “In line with advice from Public Health England, our Year 8 students are isolating for two weeks and teachers will support them to continue their learning at home. “Thanks to the extensive measures we have in place, including the bubble system, the academy remains safe to open for.
