Etihad Airways will now require all UK passengers to have a Covid-19 test before flying

direct to your inbox Etihad Airways have announced that all passengers from the UK must now test negative for coronavirus before being allowed to fly.

The airline says that it is now mandatory for anyone flying with the operator from the UK to present a negative Covid-19 PCR test result ahead of travel.

Etihad say that the new rules will come into effect December 24. A test must be carried out at a government accredited medical facility, and must be carried out a maximum of 72 hours before departure.

This also applies to those travelling from the UK via the UAE to an onward destination.Before December 24, passengers must ensure they have a test a maximum of 96 hours before they are due to fly.All passengers are now required to present.
