Evacuation ordered for Abbotsford area as B.C. hit with more rain

An evacuation order has been issued for the Huntingdon Village area of Abbotsford, as rain continues to fall on already sodden southern B.C.

Residents have been told they must leave the area immediately as emergency crews work to support the evacuation effort. Flood watches were also issued overnight for the Tulameen, Similkameen, Coldwater and Nicola rivers.
