Everton and Liverpool will join forces with some innovative measures to ensure there is no public disorder at the Mersey derby.
With Merseyside Police warning fans they must “do the right thing - stay at home” after the clubs were given the green light to play the derby at Goodison Park, officials will now explore measures to help ensure public safety as the game is staged without fans.
That will include messages from the managers of both teams, Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti - and also from star players such as Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Richarlison and Liverpool-born Leighton Baines and Trent Alexander-Arnold - for fans not to gather.
