Everton and Liverpool could reportedly be played at Southampton 's St Mary's Stadium instead of Goodison Park. The derby is one of six Premier League fixtures highlighted by police which would potentially need to be played at neutral venues because of health and safety concerns.

St Mary's, Wembley, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Leicester 's King Power Stadium have been earmarked by the league as potential neutral venues, according to the Athletic.

Clubs have agreed that neutral venues will only be used as a contingency plan and a safety advisory group is set to meet via Zoom today to decide whether or not to recommend that Goodison Park is given the necessary licence to host the derby.Should the recommend that the game does not go ahead.
