The Last Dinner Party cancel more shows due to illness

The Last Dinner Party have announced the cancellation of more concerts on their UK and Ireland tour due to illness.This past weekend (September 29), the band took to social media to announce the last-minute postponement of their Cardiff concert after a member fell ill. Now, The Last Dinner Party have entirely cancelled four more upcoming concerts.As such, the band’s shows in Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol and Southampton have been scrapped, with the band announcing that refunds will be issued within 15 days.They wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “This is due to an unforeseen illness in the band and, following medical advice, we have to prioritise our health at this time.” They continued, “TLDP is here today because of you and we want to keep touring and sharing our music with you for a long long time – but in order to do that we have to make serious decisions like these now so that our long term health doesn’t suffer.”pic.twitter.com/XZ1YkWC5HM— The Last Dinner Party (@lastdinnerparty) September 30, 2024The Last Dinner Party’s sold-out UK and Ireland headline tour is set to continue in Dublin on Monday (October 7).

Reneé Rapp postpones remaining shows on UK tour due to illness

Reneé Rapp has postponed the final two shows on her UK tour due to illness and to prevent vocal cord injury.The singer and Mean Girlsstar was due to perform two shows at The Brook in Southampton as part of her ‘Snow Hard Feelings Tour’ on Thursday (March 7).However the singer has revealed that she’s been “been sick for the majority of” the European leg of her tour and has been advised to rest her voice to avoid “long term injury”.“Guys I’m sure you could tell but my voice was gone after last nights show,” Rapp wrote in a social media post yesterday (March 5).“I’ve been sick for the majority of the European leg of this tour, and without any recovery time I can’t seem to shake it.
