Experts advise that Scots couples should try 'talking' instead of having sex during the coronavirus pandemic

Last week, England announced new coronavirus guidelines which included that it was illegal to have sex in your own home with a person from another household.

And now sexual health charity Avert have provided helpful advice for people who chose to have sex with someone they don’t live with to lower the risk of getting or spreading COVID-19.

The website states that coronavirus is not passed on through intercourse but it is transmitted via contact with droplets from the nose and mouth, including the saliva of an infected person, which can happen through close contact with.
