Family's TUI holiday turns to 'hell' after they locked down in 'Covid hotel'

A frustrated mum has hit out after her holiday was ruined when her family were forced to move to a ‘Covid hotel’ after her partner tested positive for the virus.

Amanda Leavesley, from Huyton, Merseyside, said: “we feel like we are in hell” after her family were told to quarantine at an apartment She told the Liverpool Echo her family were moved to the apartment in a remote part of Rhodes after her partner, Paul Heffey, tested positive for coronavirus when they arrived in Greece on Wednesday.

Amanda now has to spend the next 10 days in the flat with her two-year-old daughter Callia or face a massive fine or even jail if she tries to leave. Have you suffered from a similar holiday hell?
