A man has been arrested on the Isle of Man for failing to self-isolate under new rules against coronavirus. The 26-year-old arrived on the island on Thursday but was arrested after he failed to comply with the new measures on isolation.
The Isle of Man government has said anyone arriving on the island must self-isolate for 14 days to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
The new measures were announced by chief minister Howard Quayle on Monday. They warned that anyone who doesn’t follow the rules could be fined £10,000 or face three months in jail.
