Competitive motorsport is back this weekend as Formula E enters the first round of the Race at Home Challenge. In total, 23 of the 24 real-life Formula E grid will line-up from their living rooms as part of a nine-week series.

And if the test event is anything to go by, the results are scarily accurate and the drama that has become associated with electric racing remains aplenty.

The action is being shown on BBC Red Button and iPlayer, as well as Eurosport2 from 3:30pm on Saturday. But why should you be tuning in?
