FOUNTAINS of Wayne frontman Adam Schlesinger died at the age of 52 from coronavirus after being put on a ventilator during his recent hospitalization.
After two weeks of fighting for his life, Adam passed away Wednesday morning due to complications of COVID-19, according to the singer's lawyer Josh Grier.
He was divorced from his ex-wife Katherine Michel and is survived by two daughters, Sadie and Claire. The famous rocker was hospitalized in March and tested positive for the virus.
Adam was placed on a ventilator in a heavily sedated state for two weeks but failed to recover. Speaking to Variety, his attorney explained that the Emmy winner had battled coronavirus in an upstate New York hospital and was receiving "excellent" medical care..
