Friends and admirers of Fountains of Wayne co-founder Adam Schlesinger, 52, posted their well-wishes Tuesday (March 31) after it was revealed that the prolific songwriter best known for the hit "Stacey's Mom" and his contribution to TV and film (That Thing You Do!, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) has been hospitalized with COVID-19.
Schlesinger's longtime attorney told Billboard that after testing positive for the novel coronavirus, the singer/songwriter has been hospitalized and is on a ventilator for over a week as his condition improves.
Among those sending positive vibes is Ford v Ferrari actor Jon Bernthal, who wrote, "This is my big cousin Adam. As a little boy I would be mesmerized by his talent.
