Get Out director Jordan Peele donates $1million to organisations helping the black community

Black Lives Matter. The director who helmed Get Out shared a post from his production company, Monkeypaw Productions, confirming they would be making the donation.

The post revealed that the donation would be split between five organisations they think are ‘essential’ in helping black people.

The statement read: ‘Jordan Peele and Monkeypaw Productions are proud to donate $1 million across five organizations we see as essential to the health and lives of Black people.‘We are committed to continued action against a system rooted in the violence against and the oppression of the Black community.‘Below are the organizations we are proud to support: Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective, Black Lives Matter, Equal Justice Initiative, Fair.
