Gladiators star Jefferson King's blackmail trial has been put on the back-burner as six defendants are currently unable to be present in the court's dock under rules in place amid the pandemic.
The bodybuilder and wrestler, 59, became one of the most formidable Gladiators on the show as the ever dominant Shadow in the 1990s.
However the former actor is accused of holding a man captive in an alleged blackmail plot in March last year just before the pandemic.
King was due to stand trial alongside Simon Batson, 38, Donna Harman, 41, Ottis Noel, 44, Michael Tyson, 54, and Shila Tyson, 53, in a court case that was set to start Monday, London's Evening Standard reports..
