Contact tracing is taking place at a Glasgow school after at least one pupil tested positive for coronavirus. Families of students affected at St Albert's Primary School have been contacted and told to keep youngsters at home and in quarantine for 14 days.

NHS Greater Glasgow's Test and Protect team is currently carrying out COVID-19 contact tracing at the school, in Pollokshields in the south side of the city.

NHS chiefs say "robust control measures" are in place at the school and there is currently no evidence of transmission within the facility itself.A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said: “The school is working closely with our public health colleagues who’ve confirmed that robust control measures are in place at the school, and there.

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
