Edinburgh high school has positive for coronavirus.The case at James Gillespie's High School is the latest school in Edinburgh and the Lothians to be hit with the virus.The positive case was confirmed by headteacher Donald MacDonald in an email sent out to parents earlier this week, reports Edinburgh Live.
He said the school were working closely with NHS Lothian 's Health Protection Team. He also said that there has been no evidence of of transmission within the school itself, which was the first in Scotland to insist pupils and staff wore face coverings as part of efforts to combat the spread of the virus - before it was made compulsory.
