Piers Morgan
Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain, as he scolded a viewer over their views on the deadly virus. Piers Morgan read out a message from a viewer, who suggested coronavirus was like the "flu" – prompting a firm shut down from Dr Hilary.

Reading out the letter, which was from a viewer named Peter, Piers quoted: "'Give it up Piers. Covid's just as bad as the flu.

Stop whining in a high pitched voice like a seven year old girl."Hundreds of people die from the flu, these aren't reported.

Just ask Dr Hilary."Piers responded: "You know something? My understanding, Dr Hilary, is that more people died this week from Covid-19 in reported numbers than have died in the entire year from flu."Dr Hilary rushed to agree with him, firmly putting the viewer in their place.
