He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has warned his former friend and current President of the United States Donald Trump that he needs to buck up his ideas if he wants to have any hope of winning the upcoming US election.

The outspoken Good Morning Britain host explained why he thinks Trump's time in office is hanging by a thread - though has insisted he thinks the controversial world leader could still pull it back.

Speaking frankly, Piers said: "If you had asked me in January who I thought would win... I told everyone he was going to walk it."He had taken our a series of terrorists, the economy was in good shape then he got hit by the pandemic - America has the worse everything in terms of statistics in the world and it has caused the biggest recession I have.
