Credit disbursal for Punjab National Bank was relatively low. The lender sanctioned Rs1,295 crore bit only Rs243 crore has been disbursed, data shared by the finance ministry showed.

Bank of Baroda disbursed over 28% of ₹794 crore sanctioned.The highest credit disbursal was in Tamil Nadu at Rs1,325 crore, followed by Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Telegana.ECLGS was announced as a part of the government’s Rs20 trillion financial package to help the poor and small businesses tide over the covid-19 crisis.

₹10,102 crore at the end of May, from ₹9,198 crore at the end of April Gold exchange traded funds or ETFs saw net inflows of ₹815 crore in May as investors sought safe haven options amid stock market volatility and the coronavirus crisis. Delhi govt plans 10,000-bed makeshift Covid-19 hospital under a sprawling tent

New Delhi: The Delhi government is planning a 10,000-bed makeshift hospital for COVID-19 patients under a sprawling tent in south Delhi to prepare for a projected surge in cases in the city.The planned Covid-19 facility will come up at the south Delhi campus of spiritual organisation Radha Soami Satsang Beas.The lush green campus is located near the Delhi-Haryana border. The COVID-19 facility, which will be 1,700 feet long and 700 feet wide, will have 200 enclosures with 50 beds each, said Vikas Sethi, secretary of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, Bhati Mines.This makeshift hospital will be the largest such facility in the city so far.
