Wigan dad who died from Covid-19 say he paid the ‘ultimate price’ for working through the pandemic. Factory worker Shaun Brady didn't have the option to stay home during the first national lockdown last March.

Like thousands of other key workers, he carried on as normal, using public transport every day to get to work.But his family’s worst fears were realised when the dad-of-two tested positive for coronavirus.They believe he contracted it while on his daily commute.He slipped into a coma which lasted 42 long nights.

Tragically, the virus eventually claimed his life on May 16.His devastated daughter, Hannah Brady, believes her dad would still be alive today if the government had been faster to react to the pandemic.
