Healthy dad, 27, with coronavirus symptoms dies 10 days after birth of son

A healthy young dad who started showing coronavirus symptoms last week has died just 10 days after the birth of his baby boy.
Thomas Davies, 27, became ill on Friday while working at the Albion Inn pub in Bangor, North Wales. At first, he had a cough and decided to self-isolate at his home in Penygroes, about 10 miles away.
But he became worse, and sadly died on Thursday at home, where both his girlfriend and newborn son were staying. His heartbroken mum Mandy Davies, 53, has today said she can't even hug any of her family in grief because all are observing self-distancing.
