An NHS paramedic has shared a heartbreaking message where he revealed not being able to save his dad from coronavirus “tears me apart”.
Dan Bevis, the national head of ambulance operations at St John Ambulance, shared the devastating news on Twitter that his dad had died after contracting the disease.
In the post that has now been liked more than 10,000 times, the paramedic wrote: “yesterday, I lost my dad to coronavirus.” “I’m broken as are my mum, brother and sister.
He fought so many health problems, but couldn’t fight this one.” Mr Bevis then urged people to stay at home to protect their loved ones and the NHS.
