Heartwarming gesture for children unable to visit newborn siblings in hospital

Dozens of giant teddies have been donated to children unable to visit their newborn siblings in hospital. With tight restrictions in place at hospitals because of the coronavirus pandemic, it means women can only have one birth partner with them and no extra visitors once the baby arrives.

That means siblings - who would previously have visited their baby brothers or sisters within hours of their arrival - are now not seeing them until they get home, which in some cases can be a number of days.
