Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has urged people to stay at home to stop the spread of coronavirus. In a clip, shared by Greater Manchester Police, the footballer tells people it is vital to stay at home to protect the NHS.
Rashford says in the clip: "Just a quick message to remind you all it is very important to stay indoors to stop spreading the virus. "Stay home, protect the NHS, save lives." A number of Manchester celebrities have joined forces as part of a police campaign to urge people to stay at home over the Easter weekend.
Manchester City's Steph Houghton,Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder and Coronation Street's Dan Brocklebank have also lent their support to the campaign.
