A delivery driver has relived the moment he desperately tried to help one of the victims of a horrific knife attack in Glasgow.
Six people, including a police constable, were injured at the Park Inn Hotel in West George Street yesterday after a knifeman went on a rampage before being shot by armed police.
The worker has told how he tried to stem the wound of a petrified handyman as he lay bleeding on the floor. Describing the scene as "horrific", he said he entered the hotel to drop off a food delivery and saw that a receptionist and maintenance worker had been stabbed. "It was absolute carnage, I was on the floor trying to hold the guy, the maintenance guy – a big puncture wound," he said.
