Holby City viewers were thrilled to have the popular BBC show back on their screens with the addiction of a past character. Guy Self made an appearance in tonight's episode, after actor John Michie left the soap four years ago.

The character was a consultant neurosurgeon and Holby City Hospital's chief executive officer (CEO) before making his departure.

Guy made his return to Holby harbouring his secret romance with Max (Jo Martin). However, with Ric (Hugh Quarshie) left suspicious of his return, will Guy be sticking around?

His comeback in this evening's instalment of the medical drama sparked plenty of tweets from devoted Holby City fans. One said: "So glad to see you back @theJohnMichie" with a kissing-face emoji.

Group of men assault, rob man of nearly $30K in Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after four men broke into a home and assaulted a man in Northeast Philadelphia.
