Hollyoaks has enough episodes to last until the end of July, reports say. They add that show bosses have a Plan B in place to give fans their dose of the soap, which involves re-running "vintage episodes", dating back to the show's beginning in 1995.
Channel 4 was forced to bring production to a halt amid the coronavirus outbreak, with the weekly number of episodes cut back from five to two to keep it on screens as long as possible.
