Homebase is reopening 20 of its stores this weekend, after shutting down last month in a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The UK lockdown began officially on March 23, and since then many stores all over the country have closed down apart from essential shops.

The DIY chain also went on lockdown last month to help control the spread of the deadly bug. Although the stores still operated for click and collect purposes, customers had complained of delays and issues with its website, reports Mirror Online.

But that's set to change, with people allowed back into some stores this weekend and many more to reopen if the trial proves a success.
