Homebase will reopen 20 of its stores on Saturday, the retailer said. The DIY chain has had shops shuttered since March in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus.
The stores still operated a for click and collect purposes, but customers found problems as with its website struggling to keep up with demand and customers experiencing delay.
But that's set to change, with people allowed back into some stores this weekend and many more to reopen if the trial proves a success.
