McDonald’s he once worked in.David Wynne started out as a humble burger chef in a branch of Maccy D’s – but worked his way up the ladder before opening his own company which now owns all McDonald’s restaurants in Cornwall and Devon.The 59-year-old businessman is director of White Rose UK Ltd which works with McDonald’s across the South West of England – and turns over £31 million per year.He now employs almost 1,000 employees himself – and has shared anecdotes about how he went from restaurant manager, to area manager, to business success.Cornwall Live has recounted how Mr Wynne, from Birmingham, was McDonald’s youngest UK restaurant manager at the age of 21 before progressing to area manager for the South West and Wales, and then the West.
