While many craft bloggers and home-sewers are releasing tutorials on how to make them, most require a sewing machine. The average household probably doesn’t have a sewing machine, so we’ve found some of the no-sew tutorials that only require some household items - like rubber bands, old t-shirts and filters - that you can pull together by hand.
One blogger who runs the page Belinda’s DIY, says she decided to create the no-sew mask because she couldn’t find a mask anywhere.
Other bloggers have created masks using a folded scarf, a filter or T-shirt fabric. While DIY masks aren’t hospital grade, they do stop you from touching your face – another important way to fight the disease.
